Vertical Swivel Mounts

For connecting Heavy Racked fence panels to a blank post. Screws included. Can also be used to connect one or both ends of a fence panel directly to an existing structure (house, building, wall, column); anchor screws purchased locally.

  1. Allows you attach one or both ends of our aluminum fence panels to an existing structure (house, building, wall, column, masonry . . . etc.). NOTE: This method will require you to purchase anchor screws locally based upon the type of material you’re connecting to.
  2. Also used with Blank Posts to achieve: stair stepping (straight mounts), hard angles (horizontal swivel) and steep slopes or stairs (vertical swivel). You must order one mount for each rail in your fence panel configuration. Make sure you always order 1 mount for each rail-to-structure connection and / or for each rail-to-blank-post connection. If you have a 2-rail configuration in your fence panel, then order 2 mounts for each rail-to-post/structure connection. Except for Style 10 – 2-Rail Flat Top, Residential fence panels @ 6′ high and Industrial fence panels @ 7′ and 8′ high include an additional, 4th rail. This means you need 4 mounts for each connection. The maximum horizontal rails you can have in any fence panel is 4 horizontal rails. The dog panel /puppy pickets options adds an additional rail to your fence panel. Therefore, when ordering mounts, don’t forget to ADD 1 additional mount for every connection unless you’ve already met one of the other criteria bove. For example, if you are ordering the 2-Rail Flat Top @ 5 foot high, and you’ve also added the dog panel / puppy pickets option, then you would need to order 3 mounts for every connection (not 2). If your fence panel is the Residential – Classic Spear Top – Style 1 Fence Panel @ 6′ high and you’ve added the dog panel / puppy pickets option, then you will need 4 mounts for each panel-to-post/structure. One final example. If you are making a hard angle like a 40 – 45 degree angle, then you need to order 2 “sets” of mounts because you will be connecting 2 ends of 2 fence panels to 1 Blank Post. See: Angles.

NOTE: 2 stainless steel screws are included with each mount purchase; however, these screws will only work if you’re attaching the mounts to any of our aluminum posts (typically blank posts). If, however, you’re connecting the rails of the fence panel to an existing structure (house, building, wall or column), then you will have to purchase stronger screws (locally) based upon the material of the structure you are connecting the fence panel to.
