BUYER BEWARE. I ordered my fence on 3/30/2025, with a lead time of 4-5 weeks. On 5/27/2025 after getting tired of their excuses, I asked to cancel my order because they were making no progress. They told me they can’t cancel the order because “this order is completely finished and is getting on a pallet.” It’s been 9 weeks since I placed my order and 1 week since they said my order was “finished”.

All they have done to date is take my money and have provided no product. I will gladly update this review IF I ever receive my fence.

High quality product, good value; company is very responsive to questions when putting an order together and through delivery. Shipping and installation instructions are top-notch. Im about a year late on this review but I’ll say the fence looks just as good today as it did the day(s) I installed it. Minus the bird droppings of course. Installation was easier than i thought it would be. Set a post, used bungie cords to hold the panel in place, set the next one, screw panel to post and so on. Panels and posts were easy to work with and the and result is great. Neighbors love it as much as we do.

They guarantee there work. I had a few items not ship, but I had a very complicated order. The made good with everything. Their product is excellent. It assembles easily and is beautiful. The biggest hassle is the long wait for the product to arrive. Be sure to plan on that.

Our GreatFence was originally installed over 10 years ago. I recently had a tree fall and damaged a section of the fence, so I went online and ordered a new replacement section. Unfortunately, the original color, GREEN, was no longer an option. In my order, I included a note about my interest in finding a GREEN solution.

Ronny, from support, emailed me to say that while GREEN is no longer in production, he could send me a full section in WHITE and a couple of spray cans of GREEN paint at no additional cost.

The parts and the paint showed up within a few days of one another. And, the color was a really good match. If you find that you are in the same predicament or need to touch of your GREEN GreatFence, these are the paint specs:

We LOVE our gate from GreatFence. We went with Estate Gate, U Frame Style with Alternating Spear top and Puppy Pickets. They custom made it to the exact size we needed to fit in between our posts already in place. We upgraded to the heavier duty "Industrial" version so it is extra strong and durable, yet it is still light because it's aluminum. The Satin Bronze finish is beautiful and it's powder coated so the paint extra resistant to chipping and rust, but GreatFence offers lifetime warranty against rust. They turned around our custom order in a short amount of time. For the size, style and design of the fence, we were very happy with the price. We are so happy to have found them and feel like we got a better fence at a better price than any of the other options we looked at online. Highly recommend them for your gate and fence needs. We certainly will again if we ever need to order another custom gate.

Very happy with my GreatFence, it has held up perfectly 1.5 years later. Order processing was easy, I filled up the cart with all the components I thought I needed then called customer service to confirm I was ordering the right stuff. The lead time given at time of order was 12 weeks, the product was delivered by pallet exactly 12 weeks later.

I hired 2 helpers who have installed steel/ aluminum fences before for the install. Their experience helped mostly with the gate install. Installing panels is pretty easy.

AWESOME FANTASTIC BEAUTIFUL!!!
This gate exceeded my expectations on so many levels. It's beautifully made. A perfect fit. Strong at every point from the gate itself to the hinges.
Customer service is exceptional. My husband and i are in our 60's and were able to put it up with no problem. Delivery takes a while but it's custom built and well worth the wait. I've never dealt with any other company that puts so much detail and craftsmanship into their work.

Residential panels are designed for standard home perimeter and swimming pool enclosure use and offer strength with a lighter profile. Commercial panels are stronger and built for businesses, parks and areas with higher traffic. Industrial panels are the heaviest-duty and used in high-security areas or for large home and public driveways.

Yes. All of our fence panels are rackable, meaning they can be angled during installation to follow the slope or contour of your landscape.  Configure your aluminum fence panel in our online store for slight, medium or steep slopes. Standard and Rackable fence panels can be connected together with our factory-routed line, corner, end and 3-way Posts. Heavy Rackable fence panels can be connected together using blank (non-routed) posts + vertical swivel mounts (sold separately. We offer three grades of fence panels: Residential, Commercial, and Industrial — each with specific size options:

  • Residential Fence Panels
    • Widths: 5 ft., 6 ft., and 7 ft.
    • Heights: 3 ft., 3.5 ft., 4 ft., 4.5 ft., 5 ft., and 6 ft.
  • Commercial Fence Panels
    • Widths: 6 ft. and 8 ft.
    • Heights: Same as residential (3 ft. to 6 ft.)
  • Industrial Fence Panels
    • Widths: 6 ft. and 8 ft.
    • Heights: 4 ft., 5 ft., 6 ft., 7 ft., and 8 ft.
Note:  All panels can be cut on-site for a custom width fit!
All fence panels arrive fully assembled for fast, easy installation with 1 exception. Small orders of 3 - 6 ft wide fence panels or less (and no gates) ship unassembled so they can ship oversized-UPS (instead of freight) and provide you with much, much lower shipping fee. It's easy to assemble a couple of fence panels on-site.
The vertical pickets go through the horizontal rails and are connected with stainless steel screws visible on one-side of the panel. We use the strongest aluminum alloys and a premium, 2604-5 AAMA approved powder coat finish. The horizontal rails are a heavy-duty c-channel rail with 8 internal metal ribs inside each rail going across the entire width of the rail. Most brands have hollow rails. As a result, our fence panels (and gates) are on average 20% heavier than other brands.

Absolutely! Unlike our Gates (which are framed and welded), our fence panels (width) can be easily trimmed or cut on-site using any metal blade saw. We call this: TRIM-TO-FIT. You can cut 2 inches off the width of a fence panel or you can cut a fence panel in half or in thirds, if necessary.
The position of the bottom rail. These two style are pretty much the same. Same price, too. Style 4 had the vertical pickets going through the bottom rail. Style 9 has the bottom rail lowered; i.e. the vertical pickets end at the bottom rail.
