Custom Gates

Our secure, Online Store allows you to ADD our "standard" sized gates to your shopping cart.  Standard gates are typically ordered by our customers.  However, we can fabricate a "custom" width gate for you.  A custom gate is a gate to go between 2 existing structures on your property like a house and a garage, 2 buildings OR 2 existing posts (ex: wood posts) that are already in place. 

We can fabricate a gate for any measurement that you need, however, please note the following maximum widths that are available per each GRADE::

You need to round up (to the next higher standard gate price) when ordering your gate.  In the example diagram above, you would need to order a 144" (12 feet) wide gate.  When checking out in our secure, Online Store you will see in STEP 3: REVIEW & PAYMENT a Customer Notes text box.  In that box you will need to tell us what the Daylight Opening Measurement (DLO) is for your opening.  In the sample diagram above, the daylight opening measurement is 11' 1".  We will fabricate your gate to fit within your specific opening measurement.  We will also subtract 3/4" on each side so that you have room for your gate lock and hinges. 

You do NOT necessarily have to purchase our posts when ordering a custom width gate.  However, you may want to purchase gate hinge Back Plates so that your self-closing hinges can be surface mounted to your existing structure.  HEAVY DUTY gate hinges (included with your purchase) for use with very large, wide gates do NOT need to have gate hinge Back Plates.  These hinges already have the ability to be surface mounted.
